MIAMI-Neo Concepts LLC, based here, is planning to start construction of its second tower, NeoVertika, in the first quarter. The developer obtained funding for the $80-million project through Wachovia Bank NA.
WEST PALM BEACH, FL-The three tenants that recently signed leases at the two-tower class A property are Morgan Stanley DW Inc., Jacuzzi Brands Inc., and Wealth and Tax Advisory Services. The leases total 32,565 sf.
AVENTURA, FL-Whiting-Turner is demolishing five existing buildings to make room for the 500-unit condo project here, which will include 18,000 sf of retail space. The buildings should be torn down within two weeks.
MIAMI-Five buildings were sold to an affiliate of Principal Financial Group, a pension fund adviser, while the other building was sold to a Dolphin Commerce Center tenant, Telefsnica Data USA Inc. The six class A buildings total 883,000 sf.
CORAL GABLES, FL-Gary Shear of Shear Construction and Development Inc. and Charles Treister of Treister Design and Development Inc. are developing the Ponce de Leon, which will have 14 stories. The project is valued at about $30 million.
