NATICK, MA-Domain will move into the Home Town Center that is currently being expanded and redesigned. The retailer of home furnishing and decorative accessories is taking 41,000 sf in the 46,000-sf building located on Route 9.

BROCKTON, MA-Filene's will open a 140,000-sf store in the Westgate Mall in a former Bradlees location. The retail department store will be smaller than the standard Filene's and is part of the company's move to introduce a new format store.

SOUTH WEYMOUTH, MA-The Navy approves the no-cost transfer of 988 acres of land from the former naval air station to the South Shore Tri-Town Development Corp., the agency in charge of overseeing the redevelopment of the 1,450-acre base.

QUINCY, MA-Two apartment complexes--one located here, the other in Rowley, MA--received permanent mortgage financing totaling $6.4 million. Locally based Presidential Estates has 275 units while Millwood Apartments is a 99-unit development.

MARLBOROUGH, MA-EXACT Sciences Corp. leases 55,740 sf at The Campus at Marlborough, the 531,000-sf complex that was sold to the Berwind Property Group by 3Com this past November. This deal brings the occupancy of the site up to 48%.

NEWTON, MA-NStar has issued a request for bids to purchase Kessler Woods, a 42-acre parcel that is the largest piece of open space in the city. The city's Community Preservation Committee wants to buy the site with funds from the Community Preservation Act.

CANTON, MA-The Pepsi Bottling Group Inc. is developing a new facility at 100 John Rd. in the Canton Commerce Center. The company's lease is up at its longtime location in North Allston, which was purchased by Harvard University last year.
