KANNAPOLIS, NC-MarkPierce Co. and the city of Kannapolis, 30 miles northeast of Downtown Charlotte, are planning the project on Kannapolis Parkway, about a mile from the new Interstate 85 interchange, south of Kannapolis.
CHARLOTTE- Because no definite route has been established for the 20-mile Winston-Salem to Greensboro venture, the cost of the project remains unknown, according to a published article. However, Greenways Inc. officials confirm similar projects have averaged $200,000 per mile.
CHARLOTTE-Myers Park United Methodist Church is doubling the size of its existing complex and transforming the intersection on which it sits. The 4,000 members already have pledged $8.3 million for the fall construction start.

CHARLOTTE-The locally based real estate services firm has signed three leasing deals, bringing occupancy up to 85% at the 72,730-sf Sterling View building and 84% at the 62,495-sf Sterling Park structure. The buildings are jointly owned by Grubb Properties and Invesco.
CHARLOTTE-The financial technology firm is the first non-bank tenant in the 470,000-sf uptown high-rise being jointly developed by Bank of America and Atlanta-based Cousins Properties. The estimated value of the lease is $7 million.
