French companies have invested more than $7.2 billion and created in excess of 21,000 jobs in the city over the last 15 years. At present there are 180 French startups in New York City engaged in such sectors as advertising tech, artificial intelligence and retail.

The portfolio comprises four rental apartment properties—Bella Vista at Boca Del Mar, Centro at Davie, Stonybrook Apartments and Savannah Lakes—totaling 16.6 million rentable square feet and 1,616 units.

“In all candor, we see more opportunity in Asia for risk-adjusted returns than we do here,” says Philip Mintz with Apollo Global Management's US and Asia real estate equity business..

The merged company now has approximately $100 billion in assets under administration.
