RE/MAX, a global real estate company, is expanding to New York City, opening its first Manhattan office at 1412 Broadway in Times Square.

The opening is part of a plan to make BIZCENTER USA a national co-working and virtual office franchise.

"Today's news is a positive step in the right direction for all of the communities that sit on the Raritan Valley Line," said State Senator Nicholas Scutari. "One seat ride is critical for the continued economic growth of our region."

The purchase of the 29-story office tower follows Bridge Investment's purchase of the Offices at Flagler Station and the Offices at Doral Square.

"The demand for retail investments in Jacksonville is very strong," says JLL's Brad Peterson.

Also part of the 1031 exchange are the soon to-be-completed sales of the Chase at Overlook Ridge and the Alterra at Overlook Ridge in Boston.

Hunt Real Estate Capital provided the Fannie Mae financing for the property at 2550 Citrus Tower Blvd.
