BALTIMORE METRO-Rochester, NY-based REIT Home Properties announces two recent apartment complex acquisitions totaling $115 million. The purchases in Gaithersburg and Greenbelt, MD add 1,455 residential units to the company's growing portfolio.

ATLANTA-The locally based REIT bought the properties for about $108.66 per sf from the San Diego, CA-based developer. The fully leased, class A properties are in Des Moines, IA; Plano, TX, and Colorado Springs, CO.

PHILADELPHIA-The Cincinnati-based bank is set to close on a site in suburban Madisonville, OH, for its 598,500-sf customer service and office facility. Ohio's Tax Credit Authority offered a 60% tax credit over 10 years to keep the facility at home.

LONDON-DCT Gdansk is preparing to build a container port in Gdansk, Poland, subject to permission from the Polish treasury ministry and ministry of infrastructure.
