CANTON, MA-An 84,000-sf building developed on spec a year ago is now 64% leased thanks to two leases totaling 14,500 sf. The building is located at the University Avenue interchange where there is a Route 95 ramp under construction.

CHICAGO-A 69-story building would replace a parking lot at 111 W. Wacker Dr. with 320,000 sf of office space and 240 condominiums. The corner of Wacker and Clark Street has been undeveloped for more than 30 years.

ORLANDO-The planning board of suburban Altamonte Springs, FL., seven miles north of Downtown Orlando, likes the urban village concept but the city commission still has to sign off on the 24-acre, one million-sf venture that calls for an undetermined amount of office, retail, hotel and residential development.

FREDERICK, MD-Mt. St. Mary's College expands its presence in Frederick by increasing its space at 270 Technology Park from 4,500 sf to 16,000-sf. The new classrooms will be housed in another one of the 750,000-sf park's 18 buildings, which lease for about $12.50 per foot.
