SEATTLE, WA-The first quarter of 2002 saw vacancies rise in Puget Sound's industrial real estate. The severity of damage sustained varied widely sub-market to sub-market, but Northend to Pierce County the results were the same, higher vacancy rates.

ORLANDO-The Carlisle Group of Coconut Grove, FL has broken ground on Lenox Court, a planned 360-unit, 15-building affordable housing project on 26 acres in West Jacksonville, FL, 230 miles north of Downtown Orlando.

CHICAGO-A team of veteran restaurateurs here and in New York will open a 10,000-sf Japanese restaurant in the 1.5-million-sf, $230-million office and technology center along the Chicago River. The deal is hoped to be a catalyst for additional retail leases.
