DALLAS-Now that the financing's closed, abatement work begins next week on a 76-year-old office building being made into 183 lofts and 21,104 sf of retail space. It's taken one year of wrangling to finance the CBD project.

LONDON-The London Development Agency and the London Borough of Greenwich have selected CR Chelverton Properties and Berkeley Homes as the joint developers of a 300,000-sf leisure development for Woolwich town centre, in south-east London, fronting the historic Royal Arsenal.

BOSTON-Cambridge, MA-based Lyme Properties, in collaboration with the Harvard Institute of Medicine, proposes the development of a 400,000-sf biomedical research building here. The property would be located in the Longwood Medical Area.

BAYONNE, NJ-The US Army's closed Military Ocean Terminal, or MOT, will henceforth be known as The Peninsula at Bayonne Harbor. Six districts within the 473-acre tract have also been delineated.
