ROUND ROCK, TX-Job cuts and downsizing of key corporate residents in the past year haven't pushed Round Rock off the radar screen of others seeking to expand or relocate. The Central Texas city has roped 300 jobs and filled 100,000 sf plus in recent months.

HOUSTON-The long-time tenant takes the lead role at the 100,000-sf 1400 Broadfield in West Houston's Park Ten area. The overall lease of 52,893 sf pushes the six-story, 20-year-old building to 94% occupancy.

SAN DIEGO-The San Diego Association of Governments has implemented a regional plan aimed at promoting "smart growth." The $1.4 million plan should be complete by fall of 2003.

TORRANCE, CA-A group of West Los Angeles investors led by Deborah Nichols of Pacific Capital Group have acquired a 67,000-sf multi-tenant industrial complex in Torrance.
