SEATTLE-Average rental rates for class A office space here have slipped 22 percent in the first six months of 2001, according to a new study by Oncor International.

BOSTON-Locally-based Eastern Bank acquires Fantini & Gorga Inc., a Boston-based commercial mortgage and real estate investmentbanking firm. The bank hopes the move will strengthen its place in the Greater Boston commercial real estate market.

OREGON CITY, OR-Private investors, including golf pro and co-course designer Peter Jacobsen, put up $5 million of the $6.5 million development cost. Jacobsen designed the course with business partner Jim Hardy.

AURORA, CO-The $4.2-billion redevelopment of the former Fitzsimons Army hospital gets a $720,000 helping hand from the US Commerce Department's Economic Development Administration. The project is being touted as one of the nation's largest biotech and medical facilities.
