THE WOODLANDS, TX-Tomorrow heralds a landmark groundbreaking for Chevron Phillips Chemical Co. The eight-acre Woodlands site, upon completion, will bring the consolidation of 600 office workers in Texas, Colorado and Oklahoma.

NEW YORK CITY-The proceeds have been used to retire the firm's 1998 $185-credit facility and will be used to finance acquisitions and invest in off-balance-sheet investment funds. Borrowings on the new facility now total $134 million plus letters of credit worth $12.6 million.
