DENVER-Chief Operating Officer Doug Townsend is studying other aquariums around the country before deciding on pursuing a 10,000-sf exhibit space project for about $5 million. His decision is expected later this summer.

ORLANDO-SouthStar Development Partners Inc. of Miami is selling five-acre to 10-acre parcels at the 21-year-old, 1,800-acre mixed use park next to Universal Orlando for $6 per sf to $10 per sf. SouthStar bought MetroWest last October from Debra Inc. of Saudi Arabia for $60 million or $115,384 per acre ($2.64 per sf).

NOVATO, CA-Among the first tenants in Hangar Three at the reconverted site of the old Hamilton Air Force base here will be Golden Gate Insurance Brokers. The company inked a five-year lease for 8,386 sf feet at what is now called Hamilton Landing.

MIAMI-The locally based manufacturer pays an estimated $6 per sf to build a 232,000-sf high-tech production plant in the 106-acre Beacon Station industrial park in the northwest Miami-Dade submarket of Medley.
