BOCA RATON, FL-The owner-operator of luxury resorts approves a plan to reacquire up to about 2.7 million shares of the 40.4 million shares outstanding. Since the announcement, the company's common stock has dropped about 12 cents a share.

SAN MATEO-The two $50 million pledges to the Peninsula Open Space Trust came form the David and Lucile Packard Foundation and the Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation. The trust is eyeing coastal land from Pacifica to the Santa Cruz County border.
