STAMFORD, CT-Barry F. Hersh, former vice president of the Brookhill Group, has been named associate director of the Steven L. Newman Real Estate Institute of Baruch College of the City University of New York.

ASPEN, CO-The upscale Aspen Club Lodge lands a new owner and management company, a move coming shortly after completion of a $2-million renovation. Northridge Capital has bought the property from IRG Aspen LLC. The deal puts Kimpton Hotel and Restaurant Group in as manager.

ORLANDO-Mayor Larry Dale, who is also a commercial real estate developer and investor, reads the riot act to the five-member Sanford Housing Authority via a letter from the Seminole County Sheriff's office. Sanford is 25 miles north of Downtown Orlando.

AUSTIN-Trammell Crow is eyeing a Dec. 1 delivery, maybe even later, on its 142,951-sf spec office project. Construction has just started at the slightly more than 11-acre site near the intersection of Interstate 35 and US Highway 183.
