PHOENIX-A state legislator has introduced a bill that would allow general contractors to avoid paying a sales tax increase on contracts signed before June, a move that could save them tens of million of dollars but is opposed by the governor.

PURCHASE, NY-Two new tenants have signed lease deals totaling 7,400 sf of space at the RiverView at Purchase office complex. Professional Placement Associates and Rexam Inc. are the two latest tenants at the complex.

HOUSTON-Chevron USA has taken an extra 46,000 sf of office space at 4 Houston Center. The deal has been cut by an in-house Crescent Real Estate Equities broker and Strategis/CRESA in Houston.

NEW YORK CITY-Simon Robinson, the new head of Insignia Brooke, will relocate from New York to Hong Kong. He had been director of international business. The firm has also established its first operation in Latin America.
