LINCOLNTON, NC-Cataler Industrial Co. is buying 32 acres in the 450-acre Lincoln County Industrial Park for $270,000 or $8,438 per acre (19 cents per sf). The company's first plant would be 80,000 sf with plans to expand the structure to 120,000 sf over five years. The site is 30 miles northwest of Downtown Charlotte.

FREDERICK, MD-MIE Properties Inc. is starting its second project in--the six-building, 487,560-sf. $27 million Riverside Technology Park. The first two buildings of the four-year project are scheduled for completion in June.
