LOS ANGELES-California won't totally escape the economic slowdown that is gripping the nation, but it's not likely to hurt much or for long, according to three of the state's leading economists.

FT. WORTH-A Henry S. Miller Commercial team in the Arlington office has closed two industrial transactions. One's in Fossil Creek and the other, the Great Southwest, where an automated truck fueling station is planned.

WILTON, CT-Respond Inc., a computer software firm, has relocated its corporate headquarters operations from Westport to almost 9,000 sf of space in Wilton, according to the Stamford-based office of brokerage firm Grubb & Ellis.

PHOENIX-While the unemployment rate remained steady through the end of the year, there are signs that Arizona's economy is beginning to follow the nation's slowing lead.
