HARRISBURG, NC-This town of 3,000, about 10 miles northeast of Charlotte, is about to have a Main Street to call its own. Concord, NC-based J&B Development plans 440 condominium or townhome units, 450,000 sf of retail and 300,000 sf of office for Harrisburg Town Center at Roberta Road and NC 49, the town's main artery.

ORLANDO-The brokerage is leasing 5,000 sf for five years at the 300,000-sf, 80%-occupied Thornton Park Central, a two-year-old mixed-use, infill venture that offers suburban amenities in a Downtown ambience. The estimated value of the lease is $500,000.

DELRAY BEACH, FL-The Community Redevelopment Agency paid owner John Yurt $580,000, or $20,000 less than the asking price for the property at 909 W. Atlantic Ave., near the western edge of the agency's award-winning projects.

LOS ANGELES-December is barely half over, but investors announced the closing of more than $250 million of purchases in and around the sprawling San Fernando Valley. However, brokers say double-digit rents are coming to an end.
