ASPEN, CO-A British pub-theme restaurant holds the distinction of being the first eatery lined up for Hines Resorts' $230-million Aspen Highlands Village. Lawn bowling to direct access to the ski slopes is everyday fare at the signed restaurant.

KANSAS CITY, MO-In an image-changing relocation, the commission has selected as its home base a high-profile 19th-century house. It now has 3,300 sf of space, more than three times as much as at it former quarters in a basement.

PORTLAND-The Web-based brokerage Bidwell & Co. has completed its renovation of the historic former Bank of California building designed in the 1920s by renowned architect A.E. Doyle. Owner Jerry Bidwell purchased the structure last year for $2.4 million.

ORLANDO-Orlando Utilities Commission and Southern Co. of Atlanta plan to jointly build a $250 million, 632 megawatts natural gas-fired electric plant in southeast Orange County. The announcement follows previously-announced plans by Charlotte-based Duke Energy to build a $180 million, 640 megawatts facility in neighboring Lake County, 32 miles northwest of Downtown Orlando.
