NEW YORK CITY-The telecommunications giant is investing $50 million in the communications provider, which will be used expand its operations.

CHARLOTTE-Former racing star Ray Price touches up $3-million, four-acre asset, one of the largest dealerships in the country. The three-story structure houses a sales and service center, a retail section, a drag-racing museum and a 5,600-sf, top-floor apartment where Price and his wife live.

CHARLOTTE-Encore Products of Chandler, AZ and locally-based MetroTech Chemicals Inc. are expanding their businesses and staffs. Encore is moving into a renovated 80,000-sf warehouse on Sugar Creek Road where the work force is expected to grow to 300.
