So far, there hasn't been a significant change in commercial rents, but tenants believe that a change is coming.

"We're highly concerned and very focused on what may be coming in the next few months," said Jeffrey Deboer, president and CEO of The Real Estate Roundtable.

Developers are starting to work uncertainties and pandemic protocols into development plans on upcoming projects.
