The deal follows another major financing transaction secured for a McWhinney project. Last week, Berkadia announced it closed $170 million in financing for McWhinney's Great Wolf Lodge in Garden Grove, CA.

Phase two will involve the remaining 1.25 million square feet of planned new mixed-use development, including office, residential, hotel, marina, and retail space, as well as parks and public places, across a half mile of redeveloped waterfront.

FIU reports that South Florida's first university-affiliated conference center and hotel is expected to open by the fall of 2021.

The new partnership's first development project is a Marriott Moxy hotel in Brooklyn.

The St. Louis hotel developer is securing funding for Cortex innovation district and Prospect Yards, its newest investment projects.

The three hotel properties— the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Boston – Milford, the Doubletree by Hilton Hotel Boston – Rockland and the Hilton Garden Inn Plymouth—total 433 rooms.

LoreCore Capital and KSL Capital Partners provided the loan for the recently constructed, 35-story hotel.
