The firm, fresh off its announcement last month that it had initiated a $12-billion investment strategy for its student housing and residential divisions, has hired real estate veteran Russell Brenner as president of the new medical office and life sciences entity.

Penwood Real Estate, which is headquartered in West Hartford, CT, and Princeton, NJ-based Metrix Real Estate secured a three-year construction loan with two one-year extension options through Wells Fargo Bank for the project at 10 Princess Road.

The property had rare zoning allowing for the conversion in an area with limited auto shop product.

Production will scale down immediately and brewery operations at the Lancaster County brewhouse will cease by early spring in order to prepare the brewery for sale.

The cargo growth was bolstered by a 2.6% increase in imported goods including clothing, furniture, electronics and other everyday products over the previous record for imports set in 2018.

Dallas has long been a business-friendly location and infrastructure hub in the center of the country, and Texas maintains strong data center incentives with sales tax exemptions available on large builds of more than $200 million.

Industrial and multifamily will continue to be the market leaders in the coming year, and investment activity will follow a similar pattern.

The acquisition will represent Walker & Dunlop's first office in the Columbus market.
