Last week, CBRE Group announced it intends to acquire all the issued and to-be-issued shares of Telford Homes Plc., a leading developer of multifamily residential properties in London, with a development in-process portfolio (total project cost) of $1.66 billion (£1.32 billion).

Touchstone and Portman are planning a 190,000-square-foot office building on Lot A and a 155,000-square-foot commercial office building on Lot B, along with ground-floor retail and below-grade parking.

"Given the current evolution, shopping malls are going to look different over the next 20 years – likely with smaller anchor stores, more entertainment concepts and restaurants, more experiences for shoppers, and daily service providers such as gyms, grocers, medical offices and even day care providers."

The opening will include the launch of the mall's indoor Nickelodeon Universe Theme Park and DreamWorks Water Park—16 acres of fully enclosed family amusement experience; Big SNOW Ski and Snowboard Park – North America's 1st indoor snow sports center; the Ice Rink—a NHL‐size skating and hockey facility and Angry Birds 18‐hole Miniature Golf experience.

Commercial real estate brokerage firm Cushman & Wakefield reported the three New Jersey leases as well as lease deals in Connecticut and Long Island. In total, the firm has leased approximately 28,000 square feet in new deals in the New York metro region.

A triple-net office and retail building in Highland Park trades hands for $634 per square foot.
