Lucent Technologies has gone from tenant to owner, paying $24.2 million for a 279,000-sf structure it has been renting for several years in Aurora, CO. Everrett-Harris Investments is the seller of 11900 E. Cornell Ave., a structure housing 300 high-tech workers for Lucent’s Network Care Knowledge Center and call center.

“It’s a very big building, filled with big screens,” Lucent spokeswoman, Pat Smith, told GlobeSt.com. ”It looks like Houston Control.”
