ORANGE COUNTY, CA-HomeBase Inc., already one of the West’s fastest-growing home-improvement chains, is opening five new home-decorating stores in Southern California and Nevada.

The Irvine-based company says each of its new House2Home decorating superstores is designed to be a one-stop shopping destination for customers planning redecorating, remodeling and home-repair projects. The three Southland stores are in Orange County’s Foothill Ranch and the Inland Empire cities of Murrieta and Palm Desert. The two Nevada stores are in Las Vegas and Henderson.

More House2Home stores could be opened in the future if the concept catches on with the public, the company says. The chain already has 84 of its flagship HomeBase stores in 10 western states, with each store encompassing about 130,00 sf.
