CAMBRIDGE, MA-Biopure Corp. has subleased 13,700 sf of office space here at 58 Charles St. The biopharmaceuticals manufacturer, which has its headquarters around the corner at 11 Hurley St. and a manufacturing facility here, needs to accommodate an expanding workforce.

Biopure sublet the space from Cendant Corp., which was represented by Steve Purpura of Trammell Crow. Cushman & Wakefield senior directors Mark Winters and Mark Roth as well as Jonathan Varholak and David Townsend represented Biopure. According to Winters, Cendant’s Internet engineering group used to occupy this space before it fell victim to the high-tech bust.
