WASHINGTON, DC-Northrop Grumman has decided to stay on in its nearly 58,000-sf space in the office building at 475 School St., SW. The government contractor will continue to inhabit the entire building, which is where the company handles its $350 million Technical Assistance Contract with the US Federal Aviation Administration.

The terms of Northrop Grumman’s lease renewal, as is the case with many such government-related deals, have not been disclosed. Building owner Cambridge Property Group LP represented itself in the transaction, while Larsen Commercial Real Estate Services Inc. stood in for Northrop Grumman.

The 475 School St. structure is located just a stone’s throw from a bevy of government agencies ranging from the US Department of Health and Humans Services to the Food and Drug Administration. District of Columbia tax records list the five-story property’s 2004 assessed value at just over $11 million.
