DENVER-Former retailer Matthew DeBartolomeis is now a retail broker. He has joined the Laramie Co., which specializes in retail transactions, as a senior broker.

DeBartolomeis was founder and owner of Aspen Leaf, the parent firm of Pacific Motion Corp., a specialty beachwear retailer based in Denver. He sold it to a California company in 1997, which closed the Denver store.

DeBartolomeis then joined the Denver office of First Industrial Realty, where he handled retail and industrial transactions.During the past three years at First Industrial, he produced more than $17 million in 200 transactions.

In addition to leasing, the Laramie Co. also consults on development planning for lifestyle, entertainment and mixed-use retail properties throughout the U.S.
