NAPLES, FL-Hammock Woods LLC of Fort Myers has purchased a 32.5-acre tract of land in the eastern section of the city where it plans to build an approximately 330,000-sf medical and retail complex, according to the broker involved in the sale.

The land, at the southwest corner of Rattlesnake Hammock Road and County Road 951 (Collier Boulevard), sold for $12.4 million, or approximately $381,538 per acre. The seller was Alanda Ltd., also based in Fort Myers.

The plans call for a181,000-sf medical office park plus approximately 150,000 sf of retail space, Gary Tasman, of Grubb & Ellis
