VIENNA, VA-Forsaking the District for Northern Virginia, Envision EMI LLC commits to a lease of 60,000 sf at Tysons International Plaza Tower I at 1919 Gallows Rd. The educational institution is relocating its headquarters to the Tysons Corner submarket under a 10-year lease agreement. Greg Lubar and David Houck of the Staubach Co. represented the tenant, while CB Richard Ellis stood in for property owner 485 Properties LLC. Staubach’s Ken Kauffman also provided design and construction services for Envision.

“They looked everywhere–in DC, Maryland, and Virginia,” Lubar tells GlobeSt.com. “They settled on this building because of the economics, amenities, and quality of life provided by the location.” Financial terms of the transaction have not been released and CB Richard Ellis was unavailable to comment on the property, however, the real estate services firm markets space at the companion building, Tysons International Plaza Tower II, for $35 per sf. EMI plans to make the move to its new digs in January of next year.
