NORWALK, CT-Building and Land Technology reports that Vertrue Inc., a membership marketing solutions firm, will be moving its corporate headquarters operations from two Stamford buildings to 82,215 sf of space at its 20 Glover Ave. property here.

George Thomas, with Vertrue Inc., says the firm plans to move out of leased space at 680 and 750 Washington Blvd. in Downtown Stamford to its new headquarters offices in Norwalk by the spring of next year. The firm will be shifting approximately 250 workers, he says.Vertrue Inc., which went public seven years ago and anticipates revenues this year of approximately $585 million, currently occupies approximately 60,000 sf in the two Stamford buildings.

The long-term lease with Vertrue brings the 230,000-sf 20 Glover Ave. building, which was the former headquarters of discount retailer Caldor Corp., to 100% leased. The property was completely renovated and upgraded by Building and Land Technology in 2000 and 2001. Other major tenants at the building include: Aetna, Peppers & Rogers, Megalife & Health Insurance, Progressive Insurance and Countrywide Home Loans. Michael Siegel, Steven Greenbush and Brooke Feder of CB Richard Ellis represented Building and Land Technology and Judd McArthur of Cresa Partners represented Vertrue.

Earlier this month, Building and Land Technology reported three new lease deals at 20 Glover Ave., including Aetna’s 11,550-sf lease. The health, dental and disability benefit plans provider relocated its satellite offices from 2700 Westchester Ave. in White Plains. The two other leases were with United Way of Norwalk & Wilton, which is relocating its offices from Wilton to 3,140 sf of space on the third floor at 20 Glover Ave., and Centerchem Inc., a chemical company, which expanded its presence at the property by 3,000 sf. The firm, which offers raw materials for research for development to the cosmetic, food and pharmaceutical industries, now occupies 12,000 sf at the building.
