CLAWSON, MI-A local entrepreneur has purchased 25,430 sf of industrial space for a motorcycle repair shop for the closing price of $950,000. The property, owned by Detroit-based Becker Properties, LLC, was sold to Strumbus West 57, LLC, with Geoff Hill and Dan Labes of Grub & Ellis Co.’s Southfield, MI office representing both parties in the transaction.

Located at 1500 Crooks Rd., the property had been on the market for 18 months and had attracted four offers before the final sale. Sources at Grubb & Ellis tell GlobeSt.com that Becker Properties sold the space because the company no longer needed the building.

It could not be determined, at press time, if renovations would be required for the property. Clawson, a small suburb of Detroit, has approximately 13,000 residents and a median household income of $45,232. Crooks Road is in the downtown area of this 2.4- square-mile city.
