NEW YORK CITY-Professionals representing disciplines throughout Southern Florida have been tapped as editorial advisors to Real Estate Florida. The new magazine is the latest initiative of Real Estate Media, publisher of and Real Estate Forum.

Real Estate Florida will be the fifth print publication in the firm’s arsenal. REM also produces the regionally focused Real Estate New York, Real Estate New Jersey and Real Estate Southern California. The magazine will make its debut as a special supplement to the June 2007 issue of Real Estate Forum.

The Real Estate Florida Advisory Board will consist of 15 to 20 professionals selected from around the state to ensure full representation of Florida’s four primary regions. This initial group is comprised of South Florida’s leading executives from the brokerage, investment, development, advisory and finance communities. The board’s members so far are: Philip Carroll, SVP and Southeast regional manager at KeyBank Real Estate Capital, Miami; William Holly, president of Holly Real Estate, Miami; Edgar Jones, VP Regional Development Officer, Rockefeller Group Development Corp., Miami; Jose Juncadella, principal of Fairchild Partners, Miami; Kenneth Krasnow, COO of Apartment Realty Advisors, Boca Raton; Jack Lowell, managing director at Flagler Real Estate Services Inc./Oncor International, Coral Gables; Ken Morris, president of Morris Southeast Group/Corfac International, Plantation; and Michael Stein, managing director at Aztec Group Inc., Coconut Grove.

“This is more than just an honorary position,” says Michael Desiato, group publisher and editorial director of Real Estate Media. “Working with Real Estate Florida‘s writing staff, the Editorial Advisory Board will help identify and examine ‘hot button’ issues and brainstorm editorial ideas.” Desiato states that the target readership is comprised of 17,500 executive-level Florida industry decision makers, plus 5,000 key national and international institutional investors, lenders and commercial space-users. In future weeks, he adds, Real Estate Media will be revealing board members from the North, Central and Tampa Bay markets.

In addition to and its print lineup, Real Estate Media also produces GlobeSt.RETAIL, a series of seven e-newsletters tailored to specific niche markets and the RealShare Conference Series. REM is a division of ALM, one of North America’s largest producers of conferences and trade shows for business leaders and the legal profession.
