The hotels are in Tuscaloosa, AL; Orlando, FL; Kissimmee, FL;Seffner, FL; East Tampa, FL; Doraville, GA; Marietta, GA; Tucker,GA; Augusta, GA; Garden City, GA; Mt. Pleasant, SC; and Charleston,SC, with some locations having more than one Masters Inn property.The hotels will continue to operate under the Masters Inn name andHLC Hotels Inc., an affiliate of the seller, will continue itsmanagement at the properties for a two-year term.

Paul J. Schulte, president and CEO of Supertel, said in astatement that the portfolio will expand the firm's reach in theSoutheast. A company spokesman did not return calls for comment.Supertel owns 113 hotels with almost 10,000 rooms in 24 states,with a portfolio of brands that includes Super 8, Comfort Inn,Holiday Inn Express, Hampton Inn, Days Inn and Ramada Limited.
