With the ground lease now in hand, Detrick Properties willdevelop the 24-acre parcel. Plans call for the construction ofclass A office, technology and research space as well as theretail, and hotel/conference component. There will also be asignificant amount of green space with water features andpedestrian pathways to connect on- and off-post facilities.
Other participants in the project include the Landings RealEstate Group, which will provide development and managementservices; the design team of The Lessard Group, a Virginia-basedarchitect; and engineering firm Greenehorne & O'Mara withhospitality operator Sodexho. Dick Corp. and Hunt Development Grouphave privatization and military construction experience for the AirForce, Navy and Army on other housing and EUL developments.
