SHAWNEE, OK-Citing land prices, location and rail service asadvantages, Vanguard Stimulation Services LLC has broken ground ona $65-million manufacturing plant in Wolverine Industrial Park. TheHouston-based company expects the 70,000-sf-plus plant to come online by January 2009.

Vanguard's new factory, set to rise on 60 acres at US Hwy. 18and Wolverine Road, could employ up to 350 workers by its fifthyear of operation. The first-year payroll is projected at $5million, with first-year revenue estimated at $30.8 million andexpected to hit $213 million by the fifth year.
