Intracoastal Mall to Include 30,000-SF Restaurant Row

NORTH MIAMI BEACH, FL-Boca Raton-based Woolbright Development Inc. is adding a 30,000-sf restaurant row to the 234,000-sf Intracoastal Mall at the northeast corner of 163rd Avenue and N.E. 35th Avenue. The new space is expected to open by October.

New offerings will include Flamma Brazilian Steakhouse, Paella Seafood Grill, the Water Club and Rack’s. They will offer indoor and outdoor seating and include dockage space for boaters.

Built in 1986 and acquired by Woolbright in 2006, Intracoastal Mall is also undergoing renovations such as the addition of a palm-tree themed decor, fresh paint, lush landscaping and improved traffic routes into the parking lot.

The restaurants will join other tenants at the mall, including TJ Maxx, Old Navy, Winn-Dixie, Kirkland’s and Intracoastal Cinema 8. The mall has signed leases with several retailers that have not yet opened, such as Mattress Firm, Couture Craze and Intracoastal Wine and Spirits.

“We expect all of the changes we are making to have a tremendous impact on the community and other retailers in the shopping center,” says Pete Schlang, Woolbright director of leasing. “The center’s new look and the addition of a restaurant row will not only attract local residents, but also tourists vacationing at nearby luxury resorts.”
