GREENBELT, MD-Washington Property Co. is inking three leases at its Golden Triangle office complex here, bringing the occupancy up to 86%. Golden Triangle I–located at 7833 Walker Dr.–boasts two new tenants with Maryland-National Capital Park & Planning Commission, which is occupying 29,944 square feet on three floors here and General Services Administration, which will land 9,459 square feet on the fifth floor. Meanwhile in the partner building of the dual structure complex–Golden Triangle II at 7855 Walker Dr.–Ricoh Americas Corp. is leasing 13,320 square feet on the first floor.

Tim Jaeger and Todd Bosley with CB Richard Ellis and Marc Witowski, VP of leasing at Washington Property represented the landlord in these transactions. Marc Gary Stein of Studley represented Ricoh Americas in the Golden Triangle II transaction.

Both of the office buildings are six stories totaling approximately 122,000 square feet. Charles Nulsen III, president of WPC, tells GlobeSt.com the asking rate for the remaining space is $23.50 per square feet. Despite the slowing economy and leasing activity in the area, he is anticipating 100% occupancy by mid-summer.
