LONDON-Developer Chelsfield has been named selected bidder tobuild a mixed-use development in a 50-acre parcel in the RoyalDocks in London. The developer, along with partners First Base andImagination Europe, won the bid organized by Mayor Boris Johnsonand the London Development Agency.

The GBP 1.2-billion development at Silvertown Quays will provide2,454,171 square feet of retail and commercial space and 1,360,988square feet of residential. It will create 9,000 jobs. For thefull story, go to The Wharf .
