KANSAS CITY, MO-A Kansas City Council committee will considerresolutions related to a residential and commercial developmentbetween the Westport neighborhood and Main Street. A group ofdevelopers working under the name UC1 LLC is planning for atwo-acre project.

The first phase of the project will have a restaurant franchiseadjacent to the Little Egypt Cafe and the second phase will includea 118-unit apartment complex and parking garage. The cost of theproject is estimated to reach below $20 million. For thefull story, go to Kansas City Business Journal.
