CHESTERFIELD, MO-The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reported that twodevelopers are dueling to construct an outlet mall in Chesterfield,a western suburb of St. Louis. Simon Property Group and TaubmanCenters are pursuing retail projects along U.S. Highway 40.
On Tuesday when Taubman started clearing its site to build a450,000-square-foot center, Saks Fifth Avenue's Off 5th stated thatit had decided to be an anchor tenant in the proposed350,000-square-foot project of Simon.
