CICERO, IL-Walmart is preparing to construct a190,000-square-foot supercenter in Cicero. The store will be builton 21 acres of land at the former Sportsman's Park racetrack siteon the southwest corner of South Cicero Avenue and 33rd Street.
A Wirtz beverage distribution facility will also be built on thesite. Nearly 200 construction jobs are required for the project.Construction is scheduled to begin in mid-2013 and it will becompleted in mid-2014. For the full story, go to Chicago Sun Times .
