ALPHARETTA, GA-North American Properties has received approvalsto develop a $600-million mixed-use project in Alpharetta in thenorthern suburb of Atlanta. The project, called Avalon, is expectedto be opened in October 2013.
The development will comprise 559,000 square feet of retail; a175-room boutique hotel and a 300-room full service hotel; a350,000-square-foot office building, 85,000 square feet of officelofts and a 5,000-square-foot financial department; 250 apartments;132 townhomes and single-family homes; and 10 acres of publicspace.
