LONDON-Southwark Council has approved planning permission for a110,000-square-foot extension of Surrey Quays Limited's SurreyQuays Shopping Centre situated at Canada Water on London'sRotherhithe Peninsula. Surrey Quays also proposed an extensiverenovation of the 309,000-square-foot shopping center.
The extension will provide 18 new restaurants and shops as wellas four kiosk units. The planning approval makes way for a GBP30-million investment in the shopping center. The project isscheduled to be completed in summer 2014. For the full story, goto PropertyMall .
