JOLIET, IL-Atlanta-based Home Depot Inc. is planning to developa build-to-suit distribution center in Joliet. The1.6-million-square-foot facility will be built on a site ofapproximately 88 acres next to the company's 657,600-square-footwarehouse at the CenterPoint Intermodal Center.
Home Depot has inked a long-term lease with CenterPointProperties Trust for the new facility, which is scheduled to becompleted in summer 2013.
