AUSTIN-HonestBuildings.com, a new onlinenetwork detailing comprehensive information aboutcommercial real estate and mixed-use buildings,rolled out its platform to include 95,000 buildings in the LoneStar State. As of today, users logging onto the website can accessa database of information about local buildings, as well as thosein Dallas and Houston.

"We have information about any building in the US that has anaddress," explains Josh Boltuch,HonestBuildings.com's head of marketing. He says information aboutbuildings is obtained in various ways such as through municipaldatabases, user-generated content and proprietary partnerships withreal estate developers, brokers and nonprofits. The informationincluded on each commercial real estate and residential buildingincludes age, square footage, renovations, LEED certification,ENERGYSTAR ratings and photos.

HonestBuildings.com has gone live with information in East andWest Coast cities; Texas is the first "interior" state in which theco-located New York City/Seattle, WA company is rolling out itsplatform. "Texas is an important market," Boltuch explains. "Wefelt it important we start highlighting regions other than the Eastand West Coasts and it was high time we started hitting the southand southwest."
