CHICAGO-A venture headed by Dimitrios Kourkouvis ofChicago-based Athens Construction Co. is planning to transform anempty industrial building in Pilsen into an apartment building. Theproject, which will turn the five-story industrial facility at 1600S. Jefferson St. into apartments, will cost nearly $3.5million.
