BALTIMORE-The Baltimore Marriott Inner Harbor, a 524-room hotelin downtown, will start a $3.1-million overhaul at the end of theyear. Jon Lockwood, the regional senior sales director of Marriott,said that the property will scrap one of its eateries, CafePromenade, to make way for a 3,000-square-foot meeting space andrenovate its lobby to include social business.
The hotel currently contains 30,000 square feet of meetingspace. The overhaul will also include an enlargement of the YardSports Bar & Grille. For the full story, go to Baltimore Business Journal .
